ELITE YOUTH CLASSICAL COACHING
EYCC is a modern classical advancement program focusing on enhancing students’ technique, strength, and artistry, so that they may be prepared for the demands of the industry. The aim is to ensure students are learning the correct technique for stretching and strengthening for their individual needs and applying this to their classical technique, so that they are able to practice dance safely and competitively amongst peers, and most importantly to ensure a long lasting dance career.
EYCC benefits students through additional training in conjunction with their regular classes. EYCC offers private coaching, guest teaching workshops, open masterclasses and intensive days coached by certified ballet teacher and former Soloist ballet dancer, Emma Cheeseman.
The EYCC open masterclasses will offer training in classical ballet and specialised classical conditioning techniques. Students aged 11-16 with at least 2 years of ballet training are invited to attend. Masterclasses will run monthly for 2 hours on a weekend or during school holidays. Classes will be structured for intermediate-elite ballet students. More information on upcoming masterclass dates can be found in our 'Masterclasses' tab.
Private coaching sessions with Emma are offered in:
Classical technique & body conditioning
Solo choreography (classical, neo-classical, lyrical, contemporary)
